The Rover boys are back in school and are once again scattered across California. All this separation anxiety is fueling the next batch, however. Expect new tunes from Soul Manure, Sean McCann, Ugly Husbands, Old Softy, AND Horse Marriage. Not to mention the introduction of DIRTWORM! It's all coming together!
We've also got a couple shows to look forward to:
DIRTWORM is playing a free show at Harvest Church in Santa Barbara, CA on Sept. 11.
Soul Manure is playing with Inca Ore at Amnesia in San Francisco on Sept. 17.
and a Free Show at the Rover House (504 Palm Street. Santa Cruz, CA) alongside Ducktails, Alice Cohen, and Radiant Husk on Sept. 18.

PUBLIC ACCESS TAKEOVER! (July 31, 2009)
Speaking of facelifts; we sure gave our local public access station one last night!
But don't take our word for it, here is what the folks at the highly reputable "Rants n Raves" section of craigslist.org are saying: "Did anyone see this last night? I only caught parts of it, but Roll Over Rover was light years ahead of anything that has ever happened on that station. I will watch it anytime I see those guys are on."
Who can disagree with those racist, road ragin', diddy fiddlin posters over at craigslist? Not me!
Blood, oatmeal, jokes, trivia, slime, music, costumes, friends - what else could you ask for on a summer night!

Trinkets, Shows and Things (March 25, 2009)
The Second batch is being cooked up nicely!
And Spring Break has been good to us so far!
Soul Manure recordings are turning out really great. Sean and I are pretty thrilled about them and hopefully you will be too.
I'm still slaving away at the 100 covers of the Ugly Husbands/Old Softy split - each cover is pasted onto the tape case and is completely unique, mostly pictures from the books I cut up making The Faith of the Family (hey we still have a few copies left in the Rover store!)
We also discovered the free laminate machine in Kinkos! This is a major development for ROR. Expect lots of laminated crap thrown into your orders - trash and things found in Kinkos and our wallets, and special ROR place-mats!
We are also trying to figure the bonus release with this batch so hold your horses.
What's deal with this Octo-mom?!? I mean can you believe this woman! Is she a Mom or an Octopus? The country wants to know!
